Welcome to MAV Studio

Multimodal Anthropological Videography (MAV) is an innovative platform for relational analysis and display of anthropological research. Instead of treating research materials (videos, images, sounds, texts) separately, presenting them sequentially, or emphasizing their collective value, MAVs creatively juxtapose and synchronize two or more materials on a single screen in ways that promote dialectic and even trialectic argumentations and modes of display.

Technically simple and analytically challenging, MAV can serve researchers across disciplines and car,eer stages for teaching, conferences, film festivals, public engagement, and research publications in various outlets.

At MAV Studio we'll work with you on developing your own MAV.
